So i made a mistake. I was stopped last night and cited by a law enforcement officer for no proof of insurance. I had an idea that my insurance was no longer valid due to it overdrafting from my account when i had no money. so i contacted the insurance company and now they will NOT re-instate the insurance policy due to the fact that i have had two bad overdrafts with them. So i was told by the driver license department that if i go out now and get an SR22 qualifying insurance plan with a different company, that when i walk into the justice court payment window, they will not take away my license from me? however justice court states that my license will get taken away and i have to bring the proof of insurance to the DMV............and get my license back. Namely, what's the best amount of liability and medical coverage to select. 1) For the liability, I know it's wise to get the best liability that one can afford to cover your assets. But how about if one also gets umbrella coverage. For example, if one gets an umbrella coverage at a $2 million limit and the liability limit for the auto insuarance is $300,000 or $500,000, does it make sense to select the $500,000 or is it better to select the $300,000 limit since the umbrella coverage would kick in? 2) for medical, is this redundant coverage and not needed because wouldn't the liability portion also cover medical expenses? How much cheaper would it be to go under my dads insurance for a van, if it was 2000 on my own policy? (Year)?

My INSURANCE quote is around 2000 Annual for my Ford Transit Van. Im 17 years of age and would really like this to be a tad cheaper for the first year until I get my little own run Business going a bit more. How did it work for you to not have health insurance? Money is really tight these days and my husband and I are going to stop our insurance. But we are going to put our daughter who is almost 2 on CHIP. (Children's Health Insurance in Pennsylvania). So my question is for parents.. I've came across this one car, a VW Golf 1.4L 5 door, obviously it will be my first car. How much ROUGHLY would this cost to insure per year and is it a good car to get? It's done 139,000 Miles and is the 2001 model, its a petrol engine and will cost me just short of 600. How would I go about the insurance and how would I buy this car? How can i check its not stolen and stuff? and is it a good buy for my first car? Any help shall be much appreciated!

Insurance on g35 coupe?

I'm looking at buying an infiniti G35 coupe (don't want the sedan) couple years older though maybe an 03 or 04. I'm just wondering how much insurance is going to be roughly? I'm in the process of getting some quotes, but just some insight and second opinions would be nice. Anything specific I can do to keep insurance lower? I'm currently driving an 05 mazda 3 and I'm 20 years old with clean driving record.
